Simpson's Fence Ltd. has been helping residents and businesses keep their property contained for over half a century.
Founded in 1948 by John Simpson, the company has grown to have locations in both Chatham and London. Today the business is owned and operated by Ted Simpson who has 35 years experience in the fencing business.
Simpson's Fence offers customers all kinds of chain link fence for residential and industrial properties, Bufftech PUC fence, deck and railings, Shadetree retractable deck and patio canopies, wrought iron fencing and electric gate operators.
Some products are imported from the United States, China and India. The company also carries the Invisible Fence pet containment system for both residential and industrial uses.
Simpson's Fence moved from its former Queen Street in 1995, to a new, larger location at 1030 Richmond street in Chatham. The new location features 18,000- square-feet of building on a two acre site.
The do-it-yourself can purchase fence or decking products from Simpson's Fence or they can have it installed. The company has five installation vehicles on the road.
And when it comes to serving the customer, Ted Simpson says, "if we don't have it we'll find it.
